For the owner of Brick Swap USA, toys were never just toys—they were a world of imagination, possibility, and comfort. Ever since he was a young boy, he spent countless hours with his collection, saving every dollar he could to bring home new treasures—Star Wars figures, action heroes, and anything that sparked wonder.
What he couldn’t buy outright, he learned to trade for. Even as a kid, the thrill of swapping toys wasn’t just about getting something new—it was about re-homing something loved and giving it a second life. That passion began early and never let go.
During a major family move, his entire childhood collection was stolen from the vacant home they had left behind. The loss was devastating. It took more than 15 years to rebuild what had vanished—piece by piece, memory by memory—as he searched for the toys that once shaped his childhood. That experience ignited a deep understanding of what collecting really means: we’re not just gathering pieces—we’re reclaiming moments, stories, and nostalgia.
Long before Brick Swap USA existed, he was a vintage toy vendor traveling the country, setting up at conventions where thousands of collectors came to buy, trade, and share the excitement of discovery. The goal was always simple:
help people build collections that bring them joy—just like his collection brought to him.
This mission has never changed. At its core, Brick Swap USA is about recycling, recalling, and rehoming toys, giving them new homes and new hands to inspire.
In 2016, he opened the first Brick Swap USA in Manchester, Connecticut—a permanent, welcoming hub for LEGO® lovers of all ages across New England.
What began as a vendor table on the road transformed into a community space where people could connect, trade, and explore their creativity. His goal was—and still is—to contribute to the LEGO® and toy community in a positive, meaningful way, and to pass on that passion to the next generation.
In 2025, Brick Swap USA grew into a larger, community-focused space built for connection and creativity. Collectors, builders, families, and fans of all ages now have a place where they can come together, hang out, trade their LEGO®, and let their creativity run wild.
It’s more than a shop—it’s a shared experience, a spark of imagination, and a celebration of the memories toys carry with them.
